Sauvage Eau de Parfum is a separate interpretation in Dior’s range. It is worth investigating if the manufacturer’s bergamot-and-vanilla description appeals to you; EDP alone is not a reason to prefer it to EDT.

The description and its limits

Dior describes Calabrian bergamot and a Papua New Guinean vanilla accord. These offer a specific comparison with EDT’s highlighted citrus, ambroxan and elemi, without proving how sweet or intense you will find either fragrance.

Who might investigate it?

Our suggestion is to sample EDP alongside EDT and note the balance you experience between citrus and the later scent. Avoid choosing a larger bottle simply because EDP sounds like an upgrade. Your preferred version remains a personal choice.

Exact version and format

A refill must match both Sauvage EDP and the compatible bottle. A refill intended for EDT or Parfum is not a documented substitute. Check the refill marking on the packaging before ordering.
