An eau de parfum label is a starting point, not a universal promise of longer wear or better quality. Compare the exact compositions, sizes and formats before choosing between versions.
Read the complete identity
Retail concentration guides usually distinguish eau de toilette from the more concentrated eau de parfum category. These broad categories are useful, but we do not assign an exact oil percentage to a product without documentation.
A line’s EDP can be a different composition rather than a stronger copy of its EDT. Treat brand, line and concentration as one identity. A familiar bottle shape does not establish that you are buying the version you sampled.
Use a documented example
Dior’s Sauvage EDT description centres on bergamot and ambroxan; its EDP description highlights bergamot and Papua New Guinean vanilla. These manufacturer descriptions provide a concrete difference to investigate.
CHANEL describes Bleu EDP and Parfum separately, with New Caledonian sandalwood emphasised in the Parfum. A concentration guide cannot choose your preference; it can help you recognise that you are comparing separate products.
Keep performance separate
We have not conducted wear tests and do not publish our own longevity or projection figures. Manufacturer performance language is not independent BELCOMO evidence. Do not use a concentration label as a guarantee for a particular number of hours.
Sample the actual version you plan to buy. Keep a record of the exact name and return to your impression later. Personal preference is a valid decision criterion even when it cannot be turned into a universal score.
Check the UK buying details
Before a UK checkout, confirm concentration, ml, spray versus refill, delivery and the applicable returns policy. Product descriptions from another country do not verify UK stock.
Compare prices per ml only for comparable formats of the same variant. A gift set contains more than one item; a refill may need a particular bottle. Our documented variant comparisons provide the next step when you already have a line in mind.
